Former St Johnstone defender Joe Shaughnessy was asked by the Daily Record & Sunday Mail for his say on Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard and Glasgow counterpart Alfredo Morelos.
When asked which of the two forwards he would rather go up against, the 27-year-old said that he would be more fearful of lining up against Morelos [via Daily Record & Sunday Mail], with a link to the piece published on the @SundayMailSport Twitter account.
Alfredo Morelos or Odsonne Edouard? Rangers and Celtic stars rated as debate rages onhttps://t.co/llGToCfqpP pic.twitter.com/Y9DINsNxnQ

Shaughnessy told the Daily Record & Sunday Mail that he would “probably rather play against Edouard” and, having faced both players last season, he said: “I feared Morelos more“.
Both strikers were prolific in the 2018/19 Scottish Premiership, with Edouard scoring 22 goals for Celtic in that campaign and Morelos netting 17 for his side.
However, the Celtic man has a far superior record in Glasgow derbies – he has netted five times in as many appearances against his club’s fierce rivals, including one in last week’s 2-0 win at Ibrox, whereas Morelos has never scored against Celtic in seven derbies.
These Celtic fans on Twitter feel that there is only one winner when the two strikers are compared:
There’s a debate? Absolutely hilarious

Morelos is Colombia’s version of Liam Boyce.

Edouard batters them time and time again. Morelos more red cards against Celtic than goals. Left out last week because he can't be trusted.
Edouard is younger, faster, a better finisher, has better movement and is just in general a far superior footballer in every department.
