Celtic fans have had positive things to say about midfielder Callum McGregor following his performance against St. Mirren on Saturday.
The 26-year-old managed to get his name on the scoresheet after dispatching a penalty in the 90th minute as the Bhoys went on to win 5-0. His contribution helped Neil Lennon’s side move 16 points clear at the top of the SPFL table temporarily and closer to yet another Premiership title.
McGregor has since come in for praise from supporters, and rightly so, with that strike being his 13th of the season. As acknowledged by Celtic’s official Twitter account, it means this is the Scotland international’s highest-scoring campaign in the club’s colours — no wonder one supporter described him as a “class” player.

He will now be hoping to add to that tally next Sunday when Lennon’s men travel to Ibrox as they look to pile even more misery on Steven Gerrard and Rangers.
