Celtic fans were in a humorous mood after an image of Joe Garner emerged from a previous Old Firm derby.
In a pulsating game back in 2016, the forward was substituted in the 12th minute of his side’s 2-1 defeat and was pictured sitting in the waiting room of Queen Elizabeth University Hospital’s A&E department (via Daily Record). The Englishman was clattered into after going in for a challenge in the build-up to his old team’s opening goal.

It’s an image that has been shared just a few days before the two famous sides lock horns once more in the Scottish Premiership. The clubs have met three times already this season with Celtic winning two; however, Steven Gerrard’s men won the last instalment (via Match Stat).
