Celtic fans were left lavishing Callum McGregor with praise after he sent a message to the Hoops’ supporters.
In a video posted on the club’s official Twitter account, the midfielder asked the faithful to remain safe by staying inside, as per the government’s order, whilst running on a treadmill. McGregor seems to be a fan-favourite at Paradise having risen through the academy with the Parkhead outfit. He’s gone on to make more than 270 appearances for the side, scoring 49 goals and assisting a further 56 across all competitions (via Transfermarkt).

All in all, he’s won a staggering 13 major honours with the club and been capped by Scotland 19 times. However, McGregor’s greatest achievement with Celtic is forming part of the Hoops team which won three consecutive domestic trebles.
