A lot of Celtic fans are loving an image showing a football kit from the club’s past posted by a fan on Twitter.
It is a match worn shirt given to a relative of Twitter user St.Anthony by Sean Fallon, who not only played as a defender for the Scottish side, but also went on to become their assistant manager in one of their most fruitful periods. Indeed he was part of the staff when the club famously won the European Cup in 1967, via thecelticwiki.

There have been many famous kits featuring the green and white hoops, including the 1967 one, which was voted in the Top 20 football kits of all time by organisers of the Ballon d’Or competition, France Football.
Their current strip could become part of their illustrious history too as they are 13 points clear of second placed Rangers in the league and on course to win their ninth title in a row, via BBC Sport. It seems like the one tweeted however, is up there with the best for fans of the Celts.
Here is what fans had to say following the tweet:
What's your favourite bit of Celtic memorabilia ? Mine's is Celtic shirt Sean Fallon gave my Dad when he was manager as Jock was recuperating after car crash. No number on the back so no way of knowing who wore it. It has stains and I'm feart to wash it in case it gets damaged. pic.twitter.com/lXUAQnzgPR

Outstanding pic and story!
Somewhere in my mum’s house there’s a photo of me with Bobby Lennox from back in the 80s when he turned up one day at a soccer camp at Butlins in Ayr…the soccer camp was being run by a pro goalie, can’t remember his name, had a beard, maybe Ayr’s kpr— grimbobaggins (@grimbobaggins1) April 19, 2020
