Celtic opened a two-point lead at the summit of the Scottish Premiership after a dramatic last-gasp victory over Hamilton on Wednesday night.
The game appeared to be petering out to a quiet conclusion, with Ryan Christie’s 13th-minute goal all that separated the sides as stoppage time approached, before Marios Ogkmpoe equalised for the visitors at Parkhead. [via Sky Sports]
Just as it seemed that the Hoops were going to drop their first home points of the season, though, captain Scott Brown struck in the second minute of added time to ensure that Celtic stretched their winning run to 11 matches in all competitions.
In the frenzy of the celebrations of that winning goal, Hoops goalkeeper Fraser Forster ran the length of the pitch to join his team-mates in engulfing Brown, as per a video shared by @CelticTV on Twitter.
That late winner felt even better in the context of Rangers dropping points at Aberdeen, which allowed Neil Lennon’s team to pull clear of their Glasgow rivals.
These Celtic fans on Twitter enjoyed seeing Forster sprinting up the pitch to join in the celebrations for Brown’s goal:
