Celtic’s game against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership was as important as it’s been since the Gers were thrown out of the top division in 2012. Celtic had won the last two encounters before Sunday’s face-off, and their fans were confident before the game.
The Hoops started the day five points above their arch rivals having won their last 11 games in the league. Neil Lennon’s side included James Forrest down the right side, who’d scored eight in 19 Premiership appearances, and 20-year-old Michael Johnston, who had just two previous starts in the league before facing the Gers.
The club’s official Twitter account posted the line-up before the match and loads of fans were buzzing about it. They were pleased to see players being set-up to play in their favoured position, like Forrest, and certainly liked the all-round look of the side.

Celtic fans, would you have changed anything from Neil Lennon’s starting 11 on Sunday?
