Celtic fans were offering mixed reactions to reports over the impact recent events will have on the Scottish football season.
According to a report by the Daily Mail (via 67HailHail), the SPFL and SFA will meet today to discuss a reduction to the season and plan to announce the Hoops as the champions. An insider at Hampden Park has also confirmed that there is no chance the campaign is made ‘null and void’.
While one supporter was firmly against the plans, another welcomed the news.
No no no the league has to be finished on the park even if behind closed doors titles and relegation need to be sorted out on the pitch and give NO ONE the chance to go on about tainted titles.

The move will cause a huge split in the country with a lot still to play for. While Celtic sit 13-points clear of rivals Rangers, there are still two Old Firm derbies to play and the Ibrox outfit still have a game in hand on Neil Lennon’s side. Calls to end the season prematurely hasn’t gone down well with the Alex Rae, who took to Twitter to voice his displeasure. Meanwhile, Scott Brown and the Celtic manager were calling for their side to be handed the trophy should the season end early.
Here are some mixed reactions from supporters:
Rightly so

Finish every league now as it stands and stay safe why should the teams at the top suffer and the team at the bottom benefit by not being relegated every team has had the same chances, give a point each to teams with games in hand, scrap play offs and use old system

Just play out the remaining games whenever we can. Next year season can easily be delayed if need be.
