Celtic fans were chomping at the bit to see their in action as they aimed to restore their six-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League table. On Saturday, they watched on as Rangers were awarded four penalties at Ibrox in a 4-0 win over St Mirren, and when they faced St Johnstone they were livid they didn’t get one of their own.
Someone will need to explain to me why challenge on Edouard wasn’t a penalty Anyway, suspect Celtic are about to sail off into the sunset in this league.

There was one incident in the second half, with around 20 minutes left to play, when the Hoops were left absolutely livid not to have been awarded a spot-kick. First of all, a ball into the box was met by Ryan Christie, who received a boot in the stomach for his troubles when trying to bring the ball down. That was then followed up by the balling falling to Odsonne Edouard, who was forced off after a studs-up challenge in the box forced him off.
There was plenty of anger from the fans at the double incident and they cannot believe that they didn’t get a spot-kick. At that point in the game they were yet to make the breakthrough and whilst the injured Edouard would be replaced by the match-winner, Timothy Weah, the travelling fans had every right to be fuming with the awful officiating in the huge clash at Perth.

Ryan Christie was kicked in the ribs prior to that. Can anybody explain why that wasn't a penalty either?

The Hoops hate the way they feel they’re treated by referees and are still in shock that they didn’t get a penalty yesterday.
