Celtic have had some fabulous players down the years and truly are a historic club. A lot of players don’t understand what it means to play for the club but Kieran Tierney is one that does. The young defender is a class act and the Celtic are lucky to have him. The fans know this too, and after he went to watch The Celtic Musical last night he stopped to take pictures with some delighted fans.

At the age of just 21 it’s very rare to see a player understand what it means to represent a club the size of Celtic but Tierney seems to have a maturity beyond his years. Both on and off the football pitch he continues to show why the club are lucky to have him on their books. The defender could become a club legend if he sticks around at Parkhead and so far he’s done very well to ignore the interest from a number of top clubs.
It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll feature tonight against Rosenborg considering the short turnaround before the Kilmarnock trip but either way the fans will be cheering both Tierney and their side on for both games. The Europa League clash could see Emilio Izaguirre preferred to Tierney to give the youngster a rest, but Brendan Rodgers seems to trust the youngster more than he does with a number of other players and he could be thrust in for the clash against Rosenborg.

The fans are in awe of Tierney and love having him at the club. They’ll be hoping he can put pen to paper and extend his stay for his as long as possible as he continues to show what a great player he is on and off the pitch.
