Celtic fans on Twitter loved RB Leipzig’s Tierney tweet

To a lot of Celtic fans, Kieran Tierney is already turning into a club legend. The young full-back has become one of their best players at the club under Brendan Rodgers and it looks like his progress isn’t stopping. It’s just a matter of time before a big club comes calling, and RB Leipzig have joked about Tierney’s ability in their latest tweet.

The Bundesliga side will be hosting Celtic later today in the Europa League group stages and Celtic will need to get some sort of result to stay alive in their group, which looks like a very tough one with Rosenborg, Leipzig and RB Salzburg in. However, if Kieran Tierney can get firing and help his side at both ends of the pitch then you never know what might happen.

The Bhoys are famously poor on the road in Europe and if Brendan Rodgers wants to help his side kick on and add some success on the continent to his success domestically then these are the sorts of games they need to be winning. Last season saw Europa League heartbreak in the round of 32 of the Europa league. After they crashed out of their tough Champions League group they found themselves up against Zenit in Europe’s lesser tournament, losing 3-1 on aggregate and bowing out.
