Whilst bringing in Neil Lennon this season seems to have been a brilliant decision in terms of boosting morale at Parkhead, on the pitch things have been something of a struggle. The Hoops left it until the 96th minute to snatch a winner at Dundee, and the fans weren’t happy with how Neil Lennon managed the game with his changes.

The Bhoys found themselves locked at 0-0 with their struggling opposition right the way through the tie, and when Neil Lennon looked to his substitutes bench to make a like-for-like swap between two central defenders when they were pushing for a goal in the last 20 minutes the fans were baffled. In the end, things worked out, but issues like this won’t go away and are showing why Lennon isn’t a long-term solution.
When the summer comes around, the Parkhead board have a real decision to make. The Bhoys are in a really strong position this season and are poised to win their third consecutive domestic treble. However, if Lennon managed to throw that away it will only serve as further proof that he simply isn’t the man for the job going forward, and the right man simply has to be brought in if they’re to go on and achieve ten in a row in the coming years.
