Responding to a message from Celtic captain Scott Brown, plenty of Hoops fans have been purring over his message to ‘stay safe‘ whilst also stating ‘you’ll never walk alone‘ – with many supporters lauding the ‘hero‘ and ‘legend‘ in response.
Brown, who has played a seismic 566 games for Neil Lennon’s side since joining from Hibernian in the summer of 2007, scoring 45 goals and assisting 60 others from midfield (Transfermarkt), is currently on the sidelines in isolation along with the rest of the squad due to recent events forcing the SPFL’s temporary suspension.
The 34-year-old has started 29 games for Celtic this season, debatably playing a huge role as they have stormed into a 13-point lead at the top of the table. Now, with football postponed for the time being, plenty of supporters have taken to Twitter and praised Brown over his positive message.
