A lot of Celtic fans have rushed to praise Aston Villa player John McGinn after his recent post on Twitter.
The centre midfielder, who has appeared for Scotland 21 times and scored seven goals, (Transfermarkt), retweeted a video showing Celtic legend Henrik Larsson and left a goat emoji, emphasising that he believes the Swede is the greatest of all time.
Larsson played 56 times for the Hoops, scoring 33 times and providing 11 assists, per Transfermarkt. He won the league four times with Celtic, and also won the Premier League with Manchester United as well as La Liga and Champions League with FC Barcelona. With an impressive goalscoring and cup winning tally like this it is easy to see why footballers and fans believe the attacker was one of the best.
Clearly the love of the player is shared between Hoops fans and McGinn, who was close to joining the side in 2018 but failed to do so when the club and Hibernian could not agree on a fee, via The Daily Record.
