Celtic: Fans react following Victor Wanyama’s latest comments on club

Many Celtic fans are not happy with former player Victor Wanyama’s latest comments speaking about playing for the Scottish side again in the future.

The defensive midfielder came out and said, according to The Athletic, via celticbible, “I want to play for Celtic again before I finish. I have unfinished business there. I love that club.”

Wanyama made 91 appearances for the Hoops, as he managed to score 13 goals and grab nine assists, whilst also winning the league twice as well as the domestic cup once, per Transfermarkt before moving to Premier League side Southampton in 2016 for £12.96 million.

He now moved on a free transfer to Montreal Impact after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, and this is why his recent comments about coming back to the club have confused fans, as the Bhoys were heavily linked with him in January (The Express), but he ended up signing for the MLS side.

The Kenyan might have ruined his chances of returning to Scotland to finish his career by making this move if the comments from fans following his latest quotes are anything to go by.

Here is what they said following the tweet:
