Celtic supporters have been making a lot of noise this week after seeing their team taste victory in the Old Firm derby at Parkhead on Sunday.
Brendan Rodgers’ men went into their encounter with bitter rivals Rangers off the back of successive victories over Hamilton and Suduva, the latter of which booking their place in the group stages of the Europa League. And the Bhoys made it three wins on the spin at the weekend as an Olivier Ntcham strike was enough to secure a deserved 1-0 success for the Scottish giants, thus moving them up to second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
As such, there have been many thrilled Celtic fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom are likely to be interested in a recent tweet from former striker and now pundit Chris Sutton, who has responded to an interview from Rangers’ Kyle Lafferty with Cool FM.
The Gers frontman returned to Ibrox during the summer six years after leaving the Scottish heavyweights, and played the full 90 minutes against Rodgers’ side on Sunday, but was ultimately unable to keep Steven Gerrard’s unbeaten start to life as Gers boss going.
Yet the 30-year-old has since come out and said that the Light Blues believe that they can indeed win a 55th Scottish Premiership title this season at the expense of their bitter rivals, from which Sutton responded by tweeting: ‘Here we go again…’

And it’s fair to say that plenty of Celtic fans were loving his comments, with several also taking to Twitter to mock Lafferty for his comments…
