Plenty of Celtic fans have been reacting to a tweet from defender Christopher Jullien after Sunday’s win over Hamilton.
The French centre-back, who wears number 2 for the Hoops, scored their second goal of the afternoon while also claiming that Odsonne Edouard, who scored twice at New Douglas Park on February 2nd, 2020 and wears the number 22 shirt, scored his 22nd goal of the season. [via @Chri6ViF on Twitter].
Ok hang on for this 02.02.2020 post: 🤣😭
So On that 2nd day of the 2nd month of the 2nd decade in the 2nd millennium , the #2 scored the 2nd goal and the #22 scored his 22th….Wait a second… Was it all written??? 🤣🤣#BroonyLegend #HoopsUpsideYourHead #keepthefun pic.twitter.com/jx5FHCNh2Q— Chris Jullien.. (@Chri6ViF) February 2, 2020
While Jullien noted a rather interesting and discernible theme, he may not have been entirely accurate in some respects – the year 2020 is part of the third decade of what is the third millennium, while TransferMarkt lists Edouard’s goal tally this season at 21.
The Celtic defender is regularly active on Twitter, with an image of him towering over teenager Karamoko Dembele and his posting of a ‘Happy New Year’ tweet on January 15th drawing plenty of reaction from some Hoops fans.
Jullien’s 2nd February tweet also prompted a huge reaction from these Celtic supporters, with some lapping it up and others quick to point out apparent factual and grammatical inaccuracies:

I love that tweet, but isn’t this the 3rd millennium? Just edit the millennium bit out and mention Eddie’s double, and you’re golden big chap! Well done on the goal! It was huge!

It’s the 3rd decade big man.
