Celtic: Fans react to highlights of Moussa Dembele

A lot of Celtic fans are raving over former striker Moussa Dembele, after celticbible posted highlights of the players time at the club on Twitter.

The Frenchman arrived before the 2016/17 campaign, and played 94 times, (25 of these were substitute appearances) scoring a very impressive 51 goals whilst providing 18 assists, per Transfermarkt.

These goals were a huge factor towads the Hoops’ success during his time at the club, as he won three league titles, two Scottish Cups and three League Cups with the Glasgow side.

However other clubs clearly noticed the potential of the 23 year-old, and French side Lyon managed to attract the attacker to Ligue 1 following a £19.80 million bid, per Transfermarkt.

Fans clearly miss the player as they flooded to the tweet to express how good they believe he is, with one Celt saying he was the “most talented striker we’ve had since Henrik”.

Whoever had to replace Dembele had big boots to fill, but it seems like fellow Frenchman Odsonne Edouard has stepped up, as he has managed 41 goals and 20 assists in 74 Scottish Premiership appearances, via Transfermarkt.
