Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was joined by defender Kieran Tierney for his pre-match press conference on Thursday, with the latter providing an intriguing update regarding his fitness.
The talented left back had withdrawn from the Scotland squad with an injury, meaning he would not be involved in their UEFA Nations League games against Albania and Israel, only to go on to say in their pre-Hamilton press conference that he has been training in ‘the last few days’, and as such ‘feeling better’ ahead of their Scottish Premiership clash this weekend.
This will surely come as good news for manager Rodgers ahead of his side’s trip to New Douglas Park tomorrow lunchtime, where it will be interesting to see as to whether 21-year-old Tierney features at all as the Scottish Premiership champions and league leaders seek to extend their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches.
