Celtic supporters in the Transfer Tavern have been in high spirits in recent times after seeing their side book their place in the group stages of the Europa League on Thursday night.
Brendan Rodgers’ men went into the second leg of their play-off clash against Suduva having drawn 1-1 in Lithuania last week, and thus with a slight advantage heading into the return leg at Parkhead on Thursday. And the Bhoys made home advantage count as goals from Leigh Griffiths, Callum McGregor, and Kristoffer Ajer sealed a routine success for the Bhoys, thus earning them a spot in the draw for the group stages, which took place on Friday.
And Celtic have found out exactly who they’ll be facing in the group stages of Europe’s secondary competition, with the draw pitting them against Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, and Rosenborg in Group B.
Our European adventure continues…

Rodgers’ side reached the last-32 of the Europa League last season after finishing third in their Champions League group to thus earn a spot in the secondary competition, only to go down to Zenit St Petersburg despite putting up a valiant fight against the Russian heavyweights.
And Celtic fans will be hoping their side can improve upon that effort this time round, although many have certainly been saying the same thing on Twitter following Friday’s draw regarding the fact that two of their three opponents are part of the Red Bull franchise…
the red bull group.
