Celtic fans have been reacting to reports that the club is preparing a bid for Stoke City striker Mame Biram Diouf.
The Senegalese forward is coming to the end of his Potters’ contract, which expires in the summer. Having just turned 32, it may be time for a new challenge for the former Manchester United man.
Diouf was actually signed by the Old Trafford club’s legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, but scored just once during nine first-team appearances.
Since being at Stoke, he has scored 25 goals and provided 10 assists in 154 outings, his longest stint at one club throughout his career.
