A lot of Celtic fans seem to have come to the same conclusion as the question was posed on Twitter asking who is the worst player to have played for the club.
Many have said centre-back Marvin Compper was the worst player, and its hard to disagree when you look into the details of his career in Scotland.

The German signed in January 2018 for £1.03 million from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, per Transfermarkt, and left the Scottish side on a free transfer to 3. Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg in July 2019.
What was so crazy about the player’s time at the Hoops was the fact that in the year and a half that he was there, he only managed one appearance, against Morton in the Scottish Cup in 2018, and didn’t even manage to last the whole game, as he was substituted in the 82nd minute, via thecelticstar.
