Loads of Celtic fans have been criticising the performance of Mikey Johnston, as the youngster proved to be too lightweight for the rough and tumble of an Old Firm derby.
The Hoops must now wait for a slip-up from Rangers in the title race, as Steven Gerrard’s side are just two points off the pace with a game in hand.
Neil Lennon’s men were deservedly beaten on Sunday too, with the performance perhaps even more worrying than the result itself.
James Forrest was invisible and the defence had no idea what do with Ryan Kent or Joe Aribo, while the manager’s midfield selection left a lot to be desired.
Both Johnston and Ryan Christie were repeatedly shrugged off the ball by Rangers defenders, and plenty of fans have been left disappointed by the former, who of course only just penned a new five-year contract on Saturday.
