The Glasgow derby on Sunday did not end without a red card after Jordan Jones was sent off in the closing stages for a robust challenge on Celtic debutant Moritz Bauer.
The derby had not been particularly ill-disciplined up to then, with only one yellow card for either side and just 23 fouls awarded in total.
Indeed, until the game entered second-half stoppage time, no players from either team had gone into referee Bobby Madden’s book [via WhoScored.com].
One rather unsubtle foul was committed by Scott Arfield on Olivier Ntcham, with the incident highlighted by Celts Are Here (@HereCelts) on Twitter.
I can’t think of a more appropriate video that exemplifies where both clubs are…it’s scary accurate https://t.co/pdZLq35vZB

The clip shows Arfield attempting to haul back his opponent by grabbing his shorts as Ntcham threatened to race away from him, much to the annoyance of the Celtic midfielder. Arfield was one of just two yellow card recipients on Sunday, Jonny Hayes being the other.
These Celtic fans on Twitter scorned the Rangers midfielder for his efforts to stop Ntcham getting away from him:
