Celtic fans will just about be getting over their sore heads after what would have been a proper celebration last night. The Bhoys confirmed an eighth successive title yesterday as they smashed Aberdeen 3-0 at Pittodrie, and with their next match being an Old Firm at Ibrox, Chris Sutton tweeted suggesting Rangers give the Hoops a guard of honour.
Hopefully Rangers do the right thing and Celtic get a guard of honour at Ibrox next week…

Chris Sutton is one of the most provocative tweeters out there when it comes to Scottish football. The former Chelsea and Celtic striker knows how to get under the skins of Rangers fans and loves throwing lines for the Gers to bite on. The Hoops usually enjoy it, and as per usual this was one they jumped on as they discussed the likelihood of getting a guard of honour in front of 50,000 Bluenoses.
At this moment in time, there is just no arguing that Glasgow is anything but green and white. Rangers will get back to where they were but it will take a while, and until then the Bhoys will enjoy their years of dominance. What better way to enjoy it either than having your closest rivals commemorate your achievement with a guard of honour in front of their own fans.

Celtic fans cannot wait to see if they get a guard of honour off of the Gers, although early indications suggest they’ve got no chance of it happening.
