Celtic fans take to Twitter to laud Scott Brown

Celtic fans already have a massive love for Scott Brown, he’s captained them to half of their club’s six trebles across their illustrious history and this season we’ve seen him claim his 17th, 18th and 19th honours as a Celtic player. That takes him to joint 3rd on the list of the Bhoys most trophy-laden players, and the Hoops are loving him.

Broony is one of those who whatever happens in the last few years of his career he will be going down in history as a Parkhead legend. His talents in the middle of the park may be starting to dwindle at the age of 33-years-old, but the midfielder, who has a Transfermarkt valuation of £3.3 million, still has a couple of years left in him and will be desperate to get into his twenties for trophies won.

The Bhoys will never forget Scott Brown and the way that they’be talking about him shows that they all know that his career is coming to an end. One day, and one day soon, he will have to be replaced in the middle of the park and whether the Hoops are prepared to do that and potentially phase out Brown over the next season or two is yet to be seen, but for now, in the off-season, the Hoops are just loving the Scott Brown celebrations.

You can read the Hoops’ verdict on Brown here:

We’ll not fully appreciate him until he leaves, absolutely outstanding captain and player for our club. Seen him chasing the ball down against 3 hearts players in the final seconds like his life depended on it on Saturday. Captain, Leader, Legend
