Celtic fans on Twitter have had an up and down few days this week. The Hoops have had to deal with the exit of Brendan Rodgers, yet welcoming back Neil Lennon to Parkhead will certainly have brought a smile to their faces. One man who has certainly been smiling over Lennon’s appointment is Dedryck Boyata, who the fans noticed a huge change in.

The Belgian defender has had his issues this season with the manager and the fans getting on his back, yet he’s worked hard and got his way back into the fans’ good books. Now, though, the central defender has been looking a lot more solid at the heart of the Celtic defence and with Lennon’s appointment, it looks like he’s a lot happier and the fans have noticed that his smile has returned.
If the Hoops can give the fans and the players the confirmation that Lennon is the new Celtic boss past this summer then it may just give plenty of players the belief that the club is going in the right direction with his tactical approach and his passion both on and away from the touchline. It certainly seems to be pleasing the fans and the squad, and the Bhoys have loved seeing Boyata with a smile on his face.
