Many Celtic fans have been left unimpressed after the club tweeted (via @CelticFC) that new signing Patryk Klimala would wear the number 11 shirt for the Hoops.

The Scottish champions confirmed the arrival of the Polish striker from Jagiellonia Bialystok on Tuesday and he instantly takes over the shirt number that was vacated by Scott Sinclair following the winger’s move to Preston last week.
Some Celtic fans were raging over the departure of Sinclair in recent days, with the 30-year-old scoring 62 goals in 167 appearances for the Hoops and winning nine trophies in three-and-a-half years at the club. However, he had dropped to the periphery at Parkhead under Neil Lennon this season, starting only one match in all competitions for the Hoops in 2019/20.
Klimala now takes over the number 11 shirt at Celtic after scoring seven goals in 17 league appearances for Jagiellonia Bialystok this season and 11 in 50 games in total for the Polish club. The 21-year-old came to Parkhead at a cost of £3.5m, according to The Scottish Sun.
These Celtic fans on Twitter criticised the decision to hand Klimala the number 11 shirt so soon after Sinclair leaving:
