Celtic: Fans unimpressed with the club announcing Patryk Klimala’s signing on TikTok

Celtic announced the signing of Polish striker Patryk Klimala on Tuesday and broke the news by utilising social media platform TikTok, leading supporters to label the announcement as ‘tragic’ and ’embarrassing’.

The club tweeted (via @CelticFC) that they had launched an official channel on TikTok, with @MansonDean sharing the video that the Hoops posted about signing Klimala. It shows Celtic’s official mascot Hoopy running towards a camera along with a message saying ‘Who’s our new signing? Patryk Klimala’ before turning and running off excitedly, all to the accompaniment of ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones and I.
