It has certainly been a happy return to Celtic so far for goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
The 31-year-old shot-stopper must be enjoying his second spell with the Glasgow giants after arriving on loan from Southampton during the summer transfer window, given the success they’ve enjoyed thus far this season.
Indeed, he previously spent four years at Parkhead between 2010-14 and became a key player, helping them to three Scottish Premiership titles and two Scottish Cup triumphs.
Since returning, he has been thrown straight into the starting line-up by Neil Lennon, and he has certainly vindicated his manager’s decision to play him instead of Craig Gordon and Scott Bain.
The former England international has kept clean sheets against both Hearts and Rangers and in their most recent match against Kilmarnock managed to save a penalty.
The Bhoys were 3-1 up at the time thanks to a Ryan Christie strike and a brace from Odsonne Edouard, but Forster ensured that the final minutes were more comfortable by brilliantly denying Alan Power from the spot. Obviously, the save also helped them maintain their 100% winning record in the Scottish Premiership this season.
Following another solid display from Forster, several Celtic fans are now pleading with the club to make his loan move permanent when the transfer window re-opens in January. Here is what a few of them had to say…
Just sign him already

Never in doubt, sign him permanently, place was rocking when he saved it, and Bobby Maddens tears are a sight to behold from metres away when Lenny told him straight 🍀
