Celtic manager Neil Lennon expressed his satisfaction with the club’s business in the January transfer window and seemed to hint that there may not be any further additions before Friday’s deadline, as per @CelticFC on Twitter.

Speaking to celticfc.net, the 48-year-old said: “If I don’t do anything else I’ll be happy”, adding: “I have a great squad with real quality in it. We’ve got a couple of players in and we’ve streamlined the squad a little bit. ”
The Hoops added two new players this month in striker Patryk Klimala and midfielder Ismaila Soro, with several fringe players leaving Parkhead either permanently or on loan. Scott Sinclair completed a move to Preston in the first few days of the transfer window while Lee O’Connor, Jonathan Afolabi, Jack Hendry and Eboue Kouassi have all been loaned out.
Celtic have had plenty of positives from their season so far, topping their Europa League group and retaining the Betfred Cup while remaining on course to win a ninth successive Premiership title. However, they are being challenged strongly by Rangers in the league and the ‘Gers claimed the bragging rights in the most recent Glasgow derby a month ago.
With plenty still at stake for the Hoops this season, these Celtic fans took to Twitter to vent their unhappiness with Lennon declaring himself satisfied with their January transfer activity with a couple of days still left in the window. Some supporters accused him of pandering to chief executive Peter Lawwell, with one calling for both to be sacked if the Hoops miss out on the league title:
The words of a yes man there for me. Disappointed if this is the end of the transfer activity this window. Think we need competition on RW and experience at CB

Well it’s simple as this Neil, failure to deliver the title you & your backroom team can go!!
P.S. Mr Lawwell you can go too— MrCeltic 🍀🇮🇪 (@MrCeltic5) January 28, 2020
So pretty much every other thing you said about transfers during this window has been what? Lies? Said by mistake? Or is it just that you have zero input when it comes to transfers and just say whatever Peter Lawwell tells you to say?

Neil Lennon basically settling for mediocrity, total board “Yes man”

Show some ambition, the fans back the team week in week out despite the rip-off prices bring charged by this board and clubs across the country. Minimal investment jeopardising the league, the manager and board will be to blame if this backfires. We’ve had plenty of warning.

Translation…I’m a yes man, lucky to be here so I’m not going to rock the boat and call out the board to bring in players ready to go into the starting XI to secure 9 and then 10….sure the board dont care anyways.

Of corse you’ll be happy your just happy you got the gig and will do anything lawwell tells you

I’m assuming the price of season tickets will reduce to match your ambition…
