Celtic: Fans would have loved if Odsonne Edouard could have partnered with Henrik Larsson

Fan page Celtic1967.com asked the Hoops fanbase what former attacker would they partner up with Odsonne Edouard and a lot gave the same answer as they picked Henrik Larsson.

Since his move from Paris Saint-Germain, the French striker has managed to score 60 goals in 120 appearances, which is a great record to boast at just 22-years-old, via Transfermarkt. Meanwhile ex-Swedish forward Larsson, who played at Celtic from 1997-2004, managed to score 243 goals in 312 appearances, via Soccerbase.

With both of these amazing goalscoring records, it is no doubt easy to see why the Celts faithful are drooling over the idea of this strike partnership, they would have been extremely difficult for opposition defences to contain given how prolific they both are.

However, they will have to settle for just Edouard who is continuing his great form at the club as he is the top scorer in the division this campaign, nine goals ahead of Jermain Defoe in second, via BBC Sport, having scored a goal every 96 minutes played.
