A lot of Celtic fans have expressed how much they miss Gary Hooper after the club tweeted a video from a fixture played eight years ago today.
It was a historic day for the club, as they won the league following the victory, but it was also Neil Lennon’s first title as manager of the Hoops, via Celtic FC.

The 5-0 victory against Hearts was an emphatic display in front of the Celts faithful at Paradise, but Gary Hooper definitely stood out ahead of the rest as he scored all five goals for the side, as per BBC.
The Englishman had a great record for the Scottish side, scoring 82 goals in 138 appearances, AS per Transfermarkt, and it was arguably the best spell of his career as he has failed to set the world alight in both the Premier League and the Championship since. He now plays in the first tier in Australia for Wellington Phoenix.
