Celtic have announced a contract extension for winger James Forrest through their official website which will see him stay at the club until 2023.
✍️ #Forrest2023#CelticFC is delighted to announce that James Forrest has signed a new four-year deal that will see him remain at the club until at least the summer of 2023!

Forrest has missed just two games through being rested this season and is well on course for another campaign playing over 50 games, with the 28-year-old continuing to be an ever-present in Neil Lennon’s second spell at the club. Indeed, the Scotland international has won every domestic trophy available to him on multiple occasions since making his debut back in 2010.
The winger has maintained his excellent form from last year when he cleaned up with Player of the Year awards and already has 9 goals and 11 assists to his name this season.
As you can imagine, Hoops fans were delighted with the news in the build-up to their Scottish Premiership fixture against St Mirren and took to Twitter to celebrate and to congratulate Forrest.
