Celtic have a striking crisis with news that Vakoun Bayo may require surgery and could be out for an extended period of time, according to Neil Lennon in his post-match interview following the comfortable 2-0 win over St. Mirren at Parkhead.
️ NL: “Bayo may require surgery, he’s seeing a specialist so if he does need surgery we are looking at maybe six weeks. @Leighgriff09 is back training tomorrow but we’ll have to wait and see his condition.”

Lennon also gave details of Leigh Griffiths’ rehabilitation as he recovers from both illness and injury, but he is just returning to training and it may be some time until he is up to full speed and able to be called upon in the matchday squad.
Odsonne Edouard is currently Celtic’s only fit striker, but with plenty of attacking options in the squad, fans of the Parkhead side took to social media to make suggestions to the gaffer so that the talismanic Frenchman can get a well-deserved break.
Lucky we’ve got a proven goal scorer in Scotty Sinclair in the squad…

Hopefully kennedy reminds lennon sinclair can play up front , the manager is coming across as very petty sinclair has been a model pro and gives his all for the club .

System we play I am not panicking if Edouard gets injured.
Ideally would love to have a striker such as Griff to slot in, but would be happy with Elyinoussi, Forrest, Sinclair, Johnston to do a turn until January— ℍ (@_ham86) October 30, 2019
Feel like I’ve heard oh he’s back in training before, just patch him and give sinki and even the young boy albofi or whatever a chance if needed, doesn’t matter about age if there good there good.
