The Bhoys were reduced to ten men after just 25 minutes with Ryan Christie seeing red for a reckless challenge on Scott Robinson. Willie Collum, the man in the middle, having no choice but to send off the Celtic midfielder.
Neil Lennon named a strong line-up having seen Rangers struggle to overcome the Lions recently but his game plan wouldn’t make it to half-time following Christie’s red card. Celtic managed to match Livingston for possession and in attempts at goal but lacked the cutting edge required to break down the stuffy home side.
Celtic fans were incensed at the apparent lack of effort and quality in a performance that has seen them relinquish top spot in the league, they took to Twitter to vent their frustration at their players and Lennon’s tactics.
Shocking defeat. Pathetic display. Lennon needed to make more than 1 change after the energy used v Cluj. Ajer is overrated by our support, needs to realise he is a CB first & foremost. No Sinclair, yet Hayes & Bayo? 5 points dropped in 2 games, worrying.

Called it before the game, NLs lack of squad rotation in utilizing the depth of our squad, particularly after such a high intensity European game barely two days ago, has been nothing short of shambolic.
I swear if he dares to use the word ‘fatigue’ with the large squad we have.

Another Lennon shambles. Created two clear cut chances against Hamilton, Hibs and now Livingston. We won’t win the league with a manager who can’t grasp the basics.

Poor all round. Distinct lack of composure from the centre of the park. Bauer the only guy to actually use his head today and use the ball. Complacent and something that happened in Lennon’a first tenure all too often.

Another awful away performance. No idea, no fight and usual suspects hiding cause that didn’t want to get hurt………not good enough Lennon. We cannot even cross a ball from corners, which is a standard joke amongst season ticket holders. Shambolic

Get Lennon out. Long ball tactics all day. Its what we all feared when Lennon was announced. League in serious danger which is embarassing
