Celtic failed to follow up their League Cup triumph on the weekend after being held to a surprise 0-0 draw with St. Mirren on Wednesday evening.

The Hoops were once again without star striker Kyogo Furuhashi and failed to make the breakthrough in Paisley, despite having 30 shots and 83% possession.

Here at The Transfer Tavern, we look into the three worst-rated Celtic players as per statistical specialists SofaScore, with players required to feature for at least 45 minutes for ranking.

Tom Rogic – 6.7/10

Rogic was part of a three-man midfield alongside Callum McGregor and Nir Bitton but struggled with his end product.

The Aussie made just one key pass all evening, lost four of his six duels and gave possession away on 13 occasions.

He had six shots blocked, didn’t register one on target and also failed to manage a successful cross or long ball. A frustrating night for the midfield regular.

Owen Moffat – 6.7/10

Moffat was handed a first league start by Ange Postecoglou but also ended with a fairly low score of 6.7/10.

He played just over an hour before making way for Josip Juranovic, and in that time, lost the ball 12 times, completed no crosses and didn’t make a key pass. The youngster also didn’t have a shot on target and lost half of his six duels.

Liel Abada – 6.8/10

Abada is the final Celtic starter to record a score of under 7/10 on Wednesday evening.

Occupying a central role once again, he also didn’t register a shot on target, with one off target. He was unsuccessful in five of his six crosses and lost the ball a whopping 19 times.

Abada also lost four of his five duels, making it a night to forget for the Hoops in an attacking sense.
