Celtic: Fans discuss Neil Lennon following Old Firm derby loss

Celtic did not have a good time in the Old Firm derby against their bitter rivals as they lost 2-0 at Celtic Park. Neil Lennon did not have a full squad available, with key players like Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard missing.
However, many Celtic fans do not see this as an excuse, and have flooded to Twitter to slate the manager following the result.
It could be argued that the fans are reacting too quickly following a bad result, although the humiliating Champions League qualifying defeat to Ferencvaros and now this Old Firm defeat has put plenty of fuel on the fire.
There is a lot at stake for the Hoops this season as they look to win their tenth Scottish Premiership title in a row, and this will now be even more difficult to do as they sit four points behind Rangers.
With the Hoops facing a tough contest against AC Milan in the Europa League next, Lennon will desperately need to get a result to get a lot of the Bhoys fan base back on his side.
Here is what Celtic fans have said about Lennon following the result:
Neil Lennon is still the biggest threat to 10IAR, people. Sick of seeing this team looking lost in these games.

Sub as soon as the second goal goes in; exactly like Ferencvaros.
Lennon’s no clue, just reactionary.

RT: if Lennon has to go.
Like: if you want him to stay.
After a defeat like that I think there’s only one outcome.

Lennon has just changed to a back four with FIVE minutes left on the clock. Five minutes.
He couldn’t identify this after 40 minutes? Useless.

Celtic didn’t play…They tried to play & a lot of passes was intercepted….🙄..Neil Lennon has to go…not reactionary…just he is not a tactically good manager when it matters. Celtic had not one shot on Target is headline news…😕

Lennon struggling for excuses to explain how poor & shot-shy #Celtic were.
“I felt first half we created good chances to score…”
Eh? A grand total of ONE chance that Elyounoussi balloned over.
Second 45 equally woeful with only Griff threatening once.
But no shots on target.— Brian McNally (@McNallyMirror) October 17, 2020
