Celtic made it back-to-back wins in the Europa League and completed the double over Ferencvaros with a 3-2 win on Thursday evening.

The Hoops netted early through Kyogo Furuhashi, before wingers Jota and Liel Abada got in on the act to all but guarantee European football in the New Year for Ange Postecoglou's side.

However, some Celtic players struggled in Hungary, as The Transfer Tavern looks into the three worst-rated outfield starters by statistical specialists SofaScore...

Josip Juranovic – 6.0/10

The Hoops’ worst-rated performer according to Sofascore was Juranovic, who once again filled in at left-back in Greg Taylor’s absence.

The summer signing lost the ball on 13 occasions, lost five duels and was dribbled past on four occasions.

He was also credited with an own-goal for Ferencvaros’ equaliser in the first half and made just one tackle all evening.

Perhaps the need for a new left-back is now stronger than ever, with reported target Reo Hatate capable of filling that role.

Cameron Carter-Vickers – 6.5/10

Next up is another defensive addition over the summer, Carter-Vickers. He had a new partner in Stephen Welsh with Carl Starfelt injured, but it was the American who lost five duels and made just the one tackle, actually being outperformed by his less experienced teammate.

Carter-Vickers lost the ball on eight occasions, made three fouls and lost five duels, with Welsh, statistically, the better of the centre-backs on Thursday - perhaps something for Postecoglou to consider once Starfelt is fit?

Callum McGregor – 6.6/10

Club captain McGregor completes the list, with the central midfielder comfortably the worst-rated performer out of the six players in front of the back four.

The 28-year-old failed to make a key pass, lost three duels, had two shots off target and gave the ball away 12 times.

McGregor also failed to contribute defensively either as he didn’t register a clearance, interception or tackle.

In other news: Celtic now hoping to sign 11-goal international in January.
