They still have two games in hand and if they win both they will be level on points with Glasgow Rangers in first, per SPFL. This highlights that their upcoming fixture is crucial, and the Hoops face a tough trip away to Ross County, who currently sit fifth in the division. Here is the TT predicted XI, which sees Neil Lennon make two changes from their last fixture.
Vasilis Barkas has definitely cemented himself as the number one goalkeeper at the club and performances like the one against Motherwell, in which he picked up a 7.1 rating per SofaScore, highlight why he is the number one, so there isn’t likely to be any change in between the sticks.
However there could be a change in the defence, which sees Jeremie Frimpong slot in at right-back for Hatem Abd Elhamed. Elhamed gave a good performance against Motherwell, picking up a 7.2 rating, but when Frimpong came on he won four ground duels and managed to pick up an assist, even though he was only on the pitch for 28 minutes and this attacking intent is a great asset for Lennon to have against sides in the league who will most likely sit back against the Hoops.
Olivier Ntcham is always in the news, and it doesn’t help that he has stated his desire to leave the club in the past. He did start in the last SPFL fixture for the side, but he did not put in a good performance as he lost possession eleven times, lost all his aerial and ground duels, and picked up the lowest rating on the pitch out of all the Celtic starting eleven players as he picked up a 6.5 rating, per SofaScore.
The most likely change for Ntcham will see Ryan Christie slot in as a central attacking midfielder. The Scotsman has been playing upfront whilst reliable goalscorer Odsonne Edouard was injured. The Frenchman looks to be fully fit again as he played for the France U21 side in their 2-0 victory against Georgia, and he also scored, so he will be very confident to do the same again for the Celts.
