At Celtic, the Ivorian would fit perfectly into Rodgers’ system and could provide the necessary experience to maintain a successful challenge in Europe.

Oumar Niasse

Once widely regarded in the Russian Premier League, Niasse has found life in England with Everton truly shambolic.

Still, the Senegal striker has proven his worth as a goalscorer with Lokomotiv Moscow and could be the ideal player to add strength-in-depth up-front.

Niasse has become Everton’s second choice striker and desperately seeking a move to reignite his career. Rodgers could provide the platform for him to return to his goalscoring ways – something to delight our Celtic punters.

Mamadou Sakho

The SPFL maybe a step down in comparison to the English Premier League, but Sakho must be desperate to reignite his career following a major fall-out with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The French international has been frozen out of proceedings under Klopp and should be keen to link up once again with Rodgers.

Celtic are desperately weak in defensive situations and Sakho, even on a loan deal, would prove a sensational signing for the Parkhead faithful.
