Plenty of Celtic fans have been reacting to speculation that Ivorian defensive midfielder Ismaila Soro is nearing a move to the club.
The Bnei Yehuda 21-year-old has been watched regularly by Parkhead scouts, according to the Daily Record, who also claimed that his agent Dudu Dahan has been fuelling talk of a move to Glasgow for his client.
The Daily Record noted that some Celtic fans have been suggesting that a photo of Soro and Dahan posted on the latter’s social media profiles was taken in Dubai, where the Hoops are currently on a training camp. It was also highlighted by the Daily Record that the midfielder has begun following Celtic’s official Instagram account, as well as that of Hoops striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo. Those details were noted by Twitter channel Everything Celtic (@aboutceltic), who also shared a video compilation of the 21-year-old in action.

Dahan already has one client at Parkhead, with Hatem Abd Elhamed completing a move from his native Israel to the Scottish champions last summer (as per celticfc.net).
While Everything Celtic tweeted that he was “set to become our first January signing“, these Hoops fans on Twitter weren’t getting excited about the latest on Soro, with some fearing that he would suffer the same fate as Eboue Kouassi, the midfielder who has played just 22 times in three and a half years at the club:
