Martin Begins To Work His Magic With Eyecatching Signing

According to the Daily Mail, new Fulham gaffer Martin Jol is interested in bringing in Leeds United fan favourite Max Gradel to bolster options out-wide.

The 23 year old has never plied his trade at the top level and despite Simon Grayson confident of keeping the Ivory Coast star, and all of his top players, he has admitted whilst talking to the Yorkshire post “Obviously if somebody offers money that you think is too good to turn down then we’d go out and replace them.

He is certainly an asset to Leeds, especially where their promotion hope lies come the new campaign, and you have to feel it would be a major blow to the club if he left this summer.

He netted 18 times last season not to mention his work rate and assists, and if he were to depart for the £2m asking price I think they would find it difficult to replace him.

If this turns out to be more than just speculation and Fulham are prepared to table the £2m to bring Gradel to Craven Cottage, he would be a promising addition for the Londoners who also have European football to entice the winger with, which could certainly look appealing as the Leeds number seven ponders over his future.

West Ham are also lining up a move for Gradel whom is out of contract next summer, but I’m sure Premiership football and a possible run in Europe would certainly make the West of the capital the more attractive of the two if he were to exit Elland road and seek a new challenge.

I am pursuing a career in journalism. I am a big Arsenal fan and use to love nothing more than travelling the country watching the Arsenal week in week out. I say (use) to love, I’m 100% sure i still would love it... The greatest player ever to grace the premiership is Thierry Henry in my book. Football aside, only fools and horses it is....
