Some Charlton Athletic fans were left lauding the performance of Deji Oshilaja on Twitter after witnessing the defender’s display against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Lee Bowyer’s side were lining up against the same opponents they faced in the FA Cup just last weekend and looked to avenge the loss they suffered at The Valley (BBC).
Things did not start well for the Addicks, though, as Kenneth Zohore got the Baggies off to a flyer. However, Josh Davison decided it would be a great time to get his first goal for the club and level the tie in the first half.
However, Charlton went behind just moments after the interval when Hal Robson-Kanu netted. But the hosts did not let that affect them too much as they got back into the game via virtue of a Sam Johnstone own goal (BBC).
Indeed, the point was handy for the hosts and it seems Oshilaja had played a key role in helping them achieve the result, with many of the club’s faithful sharing their praise for the centre-back after he posted a message on Twitter.
Many of them had called the 26-year-old a ‘beast’, whilst others used other adjectives like ‘superb’ and ‘top-drawer’ when describing his performance against West Brom.
