Suspected summer departure Lyle Taylor is among three Charlton players who are refusing to play once the Championship returns.
According to Lee Bowyer during an interview with talkSPORT, the Addicks are in a tough situation as three senior players have announced they will not play when the league resumes later this month.

Taylor, Chris Solly and David Davis have all informed the manager that they will not be featuring again for Charlton this season. As it happens, both Solly and Taylor are out of contract this summer and Davis’ loan deal from Birmingham will also expire once the window opens.
“That’s tough for us, it’s tough for me as manager,” Bowyer said particularly on Taylor who has recently been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
Many Addicks fans are raging in the replies to the interview with the manager and the majority have now washed their hands of the 30-year-old striker. One supporter has tweeted that the club should ‘rip his contract up’ for refusing to honour his current deal.

RIP his contract up on the spot so he dont get a penny because he ain’t done what he’s contracted to do or you play the 9 games simple and get paid. Blokes a clown

Taylor needs to do one then. Fine him 4 weeks wages and train with the under 23s or not at all. Bad apple in the camp is not what we need right now.
