Chelsea and Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are annoyed, as Bayern Munich have shown an interest in their target as talkSPORT revealed they had joined the race for Hoffenheim’s Roberto Firmino.
Firmino, 23, has lit up the Bundesliga this season and has been a stand out performer and he has gone on to net six goals.
The attacking midfielder has caught the eye of several clubs but the two clubs believed to have been leading the initial race were Chelsea and Liverpool.
But now that Munich have shown an interest, they are considered as tough competition for the two English sides.
Pep Guardiola’s team are currently the best team in Germany and he may feel more comfortable staying in the Bundesliga, however several Chelsea and Liverpool fans in the Tavern would love for Firmino to come to their club.
Hoffenheim are clearly aware of the interest for their Brazilian and are believed to have set a price tag of £20 million.
