Chelsea fans are looking a little bit interested at the latest news from Caught Offside who claim that the Blues could well be set for a summer transfer hijack of Neymar.
The forward is all but set to leave current club Santos in his homeland of Brazil and now it seems that a move to La Liga may not be as inevitable as we all thought. It has been claimed that Chelsea will look to swoop in with a massive bid for the player in order to convince him that a move to the Premier League is the way forward.
It has been thought that Barcelona were in pole position to land the young player who has often spoken of his admiration for both the club and its star player Lionel Messi. Not to mention that Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is someone the player wishes to learn under, and it seemed unlikely that a move to England would occur.
Now with Jose Mourinho about to enjoy his second coming, the West London club are looking to make a big impact in the transfer market and Neymar would prove a sensational addition, especially given the news that Edinson Cavani is set to pen a deal with Manchester City this summer.
