Some Chelsea fans are liking the sound of Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech joining the club in the summer.
According to ESPN, the Blues have identified the attacking midfielder as a priority target for the next transfer window. Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell is also said to be high on their list ahead of a potential rebuild at Stamford Bridge.
It is Ziyech’s name, though, that is getting supporters excited — and it is not hard to see why. The 26-year-old has already managed to conjure up 12 league assists this season to go with his six goals. That is eight more than what Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi have managed, with the duo currently leading the Chelsea squad in that department.
Ziyech has also been making 2.7 dribbles per league game (via WhoScored), more than any other Chelsea player, showing the sort of attacking threat he could bring to west London.
