One of the best sights in football is seeing something really unorthodox occur.

A referee falling over, a goal being scored directly from a corner, or, perhaps the most enjoyable, a goalkeeper scoring a goal — even better when it’s a sensational free-kick.
That’s exactly what football fans have been treated to by Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga this week, as the Spaniard curled in a beautiful strike from the edge of the area whilst training for his national team.
The 25-year-old has impressed since joining the Blues in 2018, keeping 24 clean sheets for the west London outfit in 65 appearances (via Transfermarkt).
He made headlines earlier this year in the EFL Cup final when he refused to be substituted by then-manager Maurizio Sarri, highlighting the sheer level of confidence he has at his disposal.
That confidence is perhaps warranted due to not only his qualities between the sticks, but also his ability to find the net at the other end of the pitch in training, in particular from dead ball situations.
Here’s how Blues fans reacted to Kepa’s free-kick on Twitter:
Goalkeeper, Manager, midfielder, now.. the deadliest striker in the @SeFutbol team… What a man @kepa_46 is..🤔🤔😱😱
