Chelsea fans are yet to see summer signing Christian Pulisic get a consistent run in the first-team.
The 21-year-old hasn’t featured for the club since the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United last month, where he played the full game as the Blues were held by Chris Wilder’s men at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic has been an unused substitute for Chelsea’s last three games against Wolves, Valencia and most recently Liverpool, even though the west Londoners could have done with an additional attacking threat in the latter two of those matches.
Fellow attacking midfielder Mason Mount limped off against Valencia last Tuesday and was an injury doubt prior to the club’s clash against the Reds on Sunday, but manager Frank Lampard decided to play him instead of Pulisic, even though it was abundantly clear that the young England star wasn’t fully fit.
Now, a selection of Chelsea fans have been left baffled at why Lampard continues to overlook Pulisic, who cost the club £57m in January (per Transfermarkt).
